RESPONSIBLE PARTY — The person completing this booking must be at least 21 years of age and is solely responsible for this agreement, all communication with Taurusroad Creative House, and the conduct of all guests, vendors, contractors, and attendees associated with the event.

PAYMENT — Full payment is required at the time of booking. All sales are final. Taurusroad Creative House reserves the right to cancel any booking for which payment has not been received in full.

AGREEMENT BY PAYMENT — These terms and conditions may be accepted by checking the terms and conditions box when booking online or by paying in full. If your booking is scheduled on your behalf by Taurusroad Creative House, you will not be shown a terms and conditions box. Instead, your confirmation email will include a link to these terms. By paying in full, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions, whether or not a terms and conditions box was checked. Payment in full confirms that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms in full for your event.

CANCELLATION — Cancellations made 30 or more days before your event will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 7 to 29 days before your event will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before your event are non-refundable. No-shows are non-refundable. All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

RESCHEDULING — Rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability. Taurusroad Creative House may, at its sole discretion, allow one reschedule if a comparable date is available within 12 months of the original event date. Rescheduled events are subject to current pricing and written approval by Taurusroad Creative House. Taurusroad Creative House is not responsible for cancellations or rescheduling needs due to circumstances outside of our control including but not limited to weather, illness, or personal emergencies.

CAPACITY — The full venue accommodates up to 40-50 guests. The client is responsible for ensuring that guest count does not exceed the posted capacity at any time during the event. Exceeding capacity is grounds for immediate termination of the event without refund.

ADDITIONAL STAFFING — Additional staffing is required for more than 25 guests at a rate of $30/hour due at time of booking.

SETUP & TEARDOWN — Your booked time is your total time. This includes all setup, teardown, and cleanup. There is no additional time before or after your booking window for any purpose. Please plan accordingly. Early access and late departure are available as pre-approved add-ons only and must be arranged and paid for in advance. Failure to vacate by the end of your booked time will result in additional charges invoiced at the applicable rate.

PRE-EVENT MEETING — A pre-event layout and design meeting is included with your booking. It is the client's responsibility to schedule and attend this meeting in advance of the event date. Taurusroad Creative House is not responsible for layout or setup issues that arise from failure to attend the pre-event meeting.

OUTSIDE CATERING — Outside catering is welcome. Taurusroad Creative House does not provide in-house catering. The client must provide the name of their caterer or food provider in advance. The client is solely responsible for coordinating, communicating with, and ensuring the compliance of any outside caterer. At the conclusion of the event, all trash must be bagged, boxes broken down, food removed, and catering areas left free of debris. Taurusroad Creative House is not responsible for food quality, food safety, or any issues arising from outside catering services.

ALCOHOL — Taurusroad Creative House does not hold a liquor license, so alcohol may never be sold on the premises. Alcohol may be served at private events only when it is provided in one of the two ways below.

Option 1: Bring Your Own Alcohol — The client purchases all alcohol from a licensed Michigan retailer before the event and brings in a bartender to serve it. The bartender may not supply or purchase alcohol on the client's behalf. All bartenders are required to carry general liability insurance.

Option 2: Caterer-Supplied Alcohol — The client works with a caterer who holds a Michigan Liquor Control Commission Catering Permit. That caterer supplies and serves the alcohol as part of their catering service.

Rules that apply to both options — The event must be private and by invitation only. Guests may not be charged a cover or admission fee, and may not be charged for alcohol in any form. No one under 21 may consume alcohol. Taurusroad Creative House never buys, sells, or supplies alcohol for client rentals. Taurusroad Creative House is not responsible for incidents arising from alcohol consumption at events.

PROHIBITED ITEMS & CONDUCT — The following are strictly prohibited: confetti, glitter, nails, tacks, screws, staples, tape that damages surfaces, open flames, sparklers, fireworks, fog machines, smoke machines, bubble machines, paint, and any materials that may damage the space or equipment. Only battery-operated candles are permitted. No furniture may be moved without prior written approval. Taurusroad Creative House reserves the right to prohibit any item or activity deemed a risk to the space, staff, or guests.

DECORATIONS — All decorations, props, and backdrops must be freestanding. Nothing may be attached, hung, taped, pinned, nailed, or otherwise adhered to the walls, ceilings, doors, windows, or fixtures. Freestanding items such as easels, backdrop stands, weighted balloon displays, and table décor are welcome. Taurusroad Creative House reserves the right to remove any item attached to a wall, and any resulting damage will be charged under the DAMAGE section of these terms.

SMOKING & VAPING — Taurusroad Creative House is a smoke-free and vape-free facility. Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the venue at all times. Violation of this policy may result in termination of the event without refund.

ILLEGAL DRUGS & UNLAWFUL CONDUCT — Illegal drugs and unlawful conduct are strictly prohibited on the premises. Violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of the event without refund and may be reported to law enforcement.

NO PETS — Pets are not permitted in the space at any time.

NOISE — All events must comply with the noise ordinances of the City of Jackson, Michigan. Music and amplified sound must be kept at a reasonable level. Taurusroad Creative House reserves the right to request volume reduction at any time.

GUEST CONDUCT — The client is solely and exclusively responsible for the conduct and behavior of all guests, vendors, contractors, and attendees associated with the event. All persons attending the event shall treat the space, staff, and other guests with courtesy and respect. Disruptive, threatening, abusive, unlawful, or damaging behavior is prohibited and may result in removal from the premises and termination of the event without refund.

TAURUSROAD AUTHORITY — Taurusroad Creative House staff are responsible for maintaining a safe and respectful environment. If issues arise during the event, staff will work with the client to address concerns. If necessary, Taurusroad Creative House reserves the right to require specific individuals to leave the premises, pause or modify event activities that violate these terms, or end the event if conduct presents a significant risk to people, property, or the reputation of Taurusroad Creative House. Any extra staffing or security response required because of the event may be charged to the client.

DAMAGE — The client is fully responsible for any and all damage to the space, equipment, furniture, or property caused by the client, guests, vendors, or any other party present during the event. Damage beyond normal wear and tear will be assessed and invoiced following the event. The client agrees to pay for all damage costs within 30 days of receiving an invoice. Taurusroad Creative House reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies for unpaid damage claims.

CLEANING — The space must be left in a reasonable condition at the end of the event. All personal items, catering materials, decor, and trash must be removed within the booked time window. A cleaning fee of $120 per hour will be assessed for events requiring abnormal cleanup beyond normal use. This fee will be automatically charged to the card on file following the session. If there is not a card on file, this fee will be invoiced following the session and is due within 30 days.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS & VENDOR PROPERTY — Taurusroad Creative House is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings, equipment, or vendor property before, during, or after the event. The client is responsible for ensuring that all vendors and guests remove their belongings within the booked time window.

INDEMNIFICATION — The client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Taurusroad Creative House, LLC, its owners, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses including reasonable legal fees arising out of or related to the client's event, including but not limited to bodily injury, property damage, alcohol-related incidents, and vendor conduct.

FORCE MAJEURE — Taurusroad Creative House is not liable for failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to natural disasters, fire, flood, government actions, pandemics, or other unforeseeable events. In such cases, Taurusroad Creative House will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the event.

FUTURE RENTAL ELIGIBILITY — Taurusroad Creative House reserves the right to decline future bookings from clients whose previous events involved damage to the space, repeated violations of these terms, illegal activity, or conduct inconsistent with the values of Taurusroad Creative House. When possible, concerns will be discussed with the client before a decision is made.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO — Taurusroad Creative House reserves the right to photograph and video the space before, during, and after sessions for internal records and marketing purposes. If you prefer that your session not be photographed or recorded please notify us in writing at the time of booking.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT — This agreement constitutes the full and binding agreement between the client and Taurusroad Creative House, LLC. Any changes to this agreement must be submitted in writing and approved by Taurusroad Creative House. Verbal agreements or representations not included in this document are not binding.

GOVERNING LAW — This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be handled in accordance with applicable state and local laws.

By proceeding with this booking or paying in full, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions in full. You confirm that you are at least 21 years of age and have the authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself and your guests.
